Cascade Village Shopping Center
The Cascade Village Shopping Center (CVSC) has been a staple of shopping in Bend since 2005. After designing their website in 2014, the CVSC leadership team approached Savy again in 2025 to modernize the site’s look and feel, improve the user experience, and boost their SEO ranking.
Website Design
The previous CVSC website was a wealth of information for locals and visitors, but lacked updated site speed, streamlined information, and current imagery. Our design team reduced the upper navigation for a simplified user experience and integrated more current and dynamic imagery to capture the essence of the shopping center. We incorporated plenty of whitespace, as well as the brand’s recognizable red, throughout the site.
Map & Directory
Our design team worked closely with development to create a searchable directory that allows customers to find details about the Center’s stores and restaurants. We also kept the brand’s dynamic store map, with some updates to its functionality. With the addition of a branded video on the home page, the newly redesigned site is engaging, clean, and visually appealing.

On-Site SEO & Copywriting
Savy has been producing organic blogs and social media content for the CVSC for years. However, when it came to the website’s SEO strategy, it needed a refresh as much as its imagery did. Our content team worked closely with CVSC’s leadership to discuss top search goals and explore a competitive strategy. While being mindful of organically ranking keywords, we updated the keyword strategy to include highly competitive, local keywords that were on par with those of other shopping centers in the area.

In addition, we boosted content on the main navigational pages to include more relevant brand and store information for customers. The leasing page, for example, was fairly hard to find before, and now it is prominently on the main navigation to attract potential renters. Our team expanded content on the Home and About pages to tell the brand’s story and communicate the shopping center’s value and legacy.
