Conifer Engineering
Conifer is a Bend, Oregon-based design company rooted in the belief that great gear should be practical, durable, and built for real-world use. With a growing family of brands that includes Conifer Engineering and Conifer Overland, the brand needed an identity system that could scale while staying grounded in its core values: adventure, preparedness, accessibility, and connection to nature.
Our goal was to create a visual and verbal identity that reflects Conifer’s unique balance of engineering precision and outdoor passion. The result is a cohesive brand system designed to feel rugged yet refined, supporting everything from product design to marketing while reinforcing Conifer’s mission to reduce barriers and bring people closer to the outdoors.
Logo Design
The Conifer logo is built from a simplified, abstract interpretation of a pinecone or conifer tree—an enduring symbol of resilience, growth, and connection to nature. Its clean geometry and balanced proportions reflect the brand’s engineering roots, while subtle rounding introduces an approachable, human quality.
Paired with a bold, wide sans serif typeface, the mark communicates strength, clarity, and reliability. Designed with versatility in mind, the icon scales seamlessly across all applications and can stand alone as a recognizable brand element. The result is a timeless, adaptable identity that feels equally at home on the trail, in the workshop, or in the digital space.

Conifer’s voice is grounded in real-world experience. It is confident, capable, and approachable without ever feeling overproduced or overly technical. It reflects the perspective of someone who has spent time in the field and is knowledgeable, practical, and focused on what works.
