Swell Clubs, a premier health and fitness destination with locations in Santa Barbara and Goleta, has been a long-time client of Savy’s. In early 2024, their leadership team approached Savy about a website refresh for both clubs to boost their presence and more effectively communicate club offerings.

Swell Clubs prides itself on its state-of-the-art facilities, passionate instructors, and diverse class offerings. One of the main goals of the redesigned websites was to better highlight these differentiators and showcase the clubs with a modern, visually appealing aesthetic. Savy’s design team implemented a user-centric design, prioritizing intuitive navigation and clear calls to action to guide visitors through the membership and class booking journeys.
Responsive Design
In addition to weaving in high-quality imagery throughout, the new website has a highly responsive design for optimal viewing across devices. With plenty of white space and intriguing color blocking, they’re an engaging journey for members and potential members.
On-Site SEO & Copywriting
We conducted a thorough content audit and keyword research to improve search engine visibility and attract potential members. The client wanted to keep the majority of the existing content but with refreshed sections. Where relevant, we developed fresh, engaging content that highlights the unique benefits of each club, including amenities, classes, and community—including brand-new About pages. We optimized the website structure and navigation for improved search engine rankings and integrated targeted keywords throughout the site.
Ongoing Support
After launching the new Swell Goleta and Swell Santa Barbara sites, Savy’s design and content teams continued providing ongoing support services for both clubs, including monthly blog posts that further the brand’s overall SEO strategy. Just as the new website communicates the services and club differentiators, our ongoing support engages with members (and potential members), tells the brand story, and communicates value to community members.
