A minimalist, easy-to-read logo was a big priority for Jim and his team. He wanted a text-based logo with a fresh typeface to feel timeless and appeal to his clients’ modern design sense. So Savy’s designers selected a clean, san-serif font and a pop of earthy orange on the ‘E’ for some interest. This artful touch conveyed Tebbs’ love of detail and passion for sustainable housing design. 

Presentation and seeing the final result is one of the most exciting steps for any client of Tebbs. Savy looked to capture this by showcasing Tebbs’ deep and expansive portfolio on the site from a visually-driven storytelling angle. 

Tebbs mentioned simplicity, elegance, and flow as top priorities for newcomers to their site. Our design and development teams captured this with a video background on the homepage showcasing Tebbs’ award-winning designs.

New pages around their process and portfolio were created to give a clearer vision to future clients of what working with a Tebbs designer is like. The navigation menu was simplified, and the website’s imagery was formatted and optimized for compatibility with mobile and desktop.

For this project, it was important to convey that Tebbs is a full-service design firm handling all the aspects and disciplines of home design. However, Jim wanted to convey this primarily through images rather than a traditional SEO-based approach. 

There are many important elements to creating harmony within the look and feel of a home page, but the most important for Tebbs was their total concept philosophy, devoted to a holistic design approach.

We gave this design philosophy its own landing page and included extensive photo galleries on another Portfolio page with high-resolution imagery of past projects, showing home interiors, unique architectural features, and modern layouts.

Uniting these priorities under a refreshed website with high-quality images and videos allowed for a more illustrative experience of Tebbs’ aesthetic and reputation as design professionals.
